Boise and the greater Treasure Valley area have a great thing going for it with The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS). COMPASS is responsible for producing the regional long-range transportation plan for Southwest Idaho. The plan provides regional transportation soulutions for the next twenty-plus years. 

One of the great documents produced by COMPASS is the general land use and transportation map. This map outlines some of the major infrastructure projects planned for the Valley.
